Cultivating Compassion in Times of Division

Cultivating Compassion in Times of Division

In an increasingly emotionally charged and divided world, the capacity to understand what compassion is, and cultivate it in an authentic way, without bypassing honest emotion, is an essential skill to develop. Sitting at the intersection of attachment theory, somatic integration therapy, yoga, buddhist meditation and cognitive science this workshop will help guide you into learning not only about compassion, but how to create and sustain an inner harmony and coherence while the world around you shifts and polarizes in difficult times. What you learn can be applied to your family life, your workplace, your friendships and all your relationships - even your relationships to polarizing figures and events on the world stage. Now more than ever, inner calm through the outer storm is a skill that keeps us anchored in the present moment and grounded in resilience and helpful, meaningful action. You will learn about:

  • What compassion is

  • What the blocks to compassion are

  • How to address those blocks

  • Tools you can use each day to process the experiences you are having and world events that are occuring

  • How to cultivate compassion in a way that doesn’t bypass the challenges we face

  • What is suffering and what happens when suffering is more prevalent than harmony

  • How you can create inner coherence independent of external events while still participating in external events

  • Ancient wisdom teachings that are very relevant to today

  • The current research that suggests human beings ARE inherently good and cooperative by nature and how to tune into and operate from that place of care for yourself and others

  • How to be compassionate without experiencing compassion or caretaking fatigue

This is one workshop that runs for two days: February 28th 9:00am - 3:00pm PST and March 1st 9:00am - 1:00 pm PST

New Years Day - Receive, Rebalance, Restore

New Years Day - Receive, Rebalance, Restore

Every January, many of us sit down with the hope of shaping the year ahead. We set intentions, make lists, and imagine that with the right cleanse, habit stack, or “bio-hack” we can emerge as a new version of ourselves. And while inspiration certainly rises at this time of year, something else emerges too; the dreaded self-help spiral.

The collective energy of “New Year, New You” often whispers that there is something to fix. That who we are now is somehow insufficient. In that push to become someone else, we can unintentionally rush past the truth of where we actually are. We bypass the integration of the year we just lived, the transformations already underway, and the essential meaning making that comes from slowing down, listening to the body, and connecting with community.

This New Year’s Day, we invite you into a different kind of experience. Together we enter into a space to soften rather than reshape, while we reflect on the year that has passed and truly receive it. When we receive instead of react we open the door to being able to hear the sacred intelligence within, the heart’s Sankalpa. As we become clear on our hearts true desires, we move into our bodies to honor the alchemy already happening within. Together we open an intentional field of co-creation with life by placing our attention on the path ahead while receiving the truth of the present moment. We hope you can join us for this event as we open the year together in softness, self compassion and intentionality.

In our time together we will

  • Reflect and share with one another on the previous year

  • Identify any patterns or areas of holding or resistance that are creating tension in the mind/body or heart

  • Somatic practices to release what is ready to release

  • An extended Yoga Nidra tailored specifically for this workshop to open and receive clarity on our hearts current desire

  • A thoughtful Yin and Restorative Yoga asana practice.

  • Somatic practices to open the mind, the body and the heart to receive what will arrive in the year ahead

  • Ground and calm the nervous system

  • Leave with clarity on the most important aspect of life to focus on in the coming year

Unbracing Yourself

Unbracing Yourself

In a world that keeps us on alert, many of us carry an undercurrent of tension braced for what might come next. This workshop invites you to soften that stance. Together, we’ll explore how hypervigilance lives in the tissues and the subtle body, and how the very patterns that once kept us safe can now be unwound with care.

Rather than focusing on the story of why the body learned to tighten, our time together centers on the how of release. Through guided somatic practices, gentle movement, and energetic awareness, you’ll learn to meet tightness directly, listen to its intelligence, and allow it to dissolve into greater ease. The work is trauma informed, but not trauma defined. Together we will explore cultivating a lasting sense of safety, rest, and presence in the body.

At its heart, this is a practice of remembering that the body can become a sanctuary, and the dreamer within can dwell here; finding safety not beyond the human experience, but within it. Unbraced, softened, receptive, and more deeply alive.

Boundaries Workshop

Boundaries Workshop

A Boundary Workshop for the Sensitive & Sovereign

This is for the one who feels everything and who gives deeply. The one who holds space and listens long, even when time is short.

It is for the one who wants to continue to give and is truly ready to stop abandoning herself in the name of being “good.” This workshop is a reclamation of boundaries, not as walls, but as sacred edges. This reclaiming is a deep knowing of the inner world and her needs. We’ll explore the difference between reaction and clarity, the wisdom of the body in saying no, and how to create containers that nourish instead of drain.

You’ll leave with tools, practices, and language to support energetic integrity in your life, relationships, and work. Your boundaries are not a rejection, they are your devotion to truth.
